WHEELMAN
   
ãÚáæãÇÊ Nick Torino (RICHARD BURGI “24,” “Judging Amy”, “Days of Our Lives”), a former hot shot ambulance driver who un fairly loses his job while gallantly saving a life , goes to work for a floundering Los Angeles limousine service. In Nick’s company are five other “wheelmen”: Paul (MICHEAL FAIRMAN “Thirteen Days,” “Mulholland Drive”) a distinguished twenty years vet of the limo world, Vladimir (ELYA BASKIN “Air Force One,” “Thirteen days,” “October Sky,” “Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery”), a Russian Ex-bodyguard, Kristen (LISA ARTURO “American pie 2”) a “just one of the guys” sexy women, Ralph (ADAM BIESK “gas, food and lodging,” “ Leprechaun 2”) a potted plant with a Class C license and Andy (WILLIAM GREGORY LEE TV’s “Dark Angel”), his likeable, happy-go-lucky twenty something brother whose cavalier work attitude is a constant source of frustration for the controlling Nick. As if putting up with his colleagues wasn’t enough, Nick comes to work one day and discovers the little boy whose life he saved yeas ago (ALEXANDER GOULD) waiting patiently for him in his office. After taking the boy on a limousine adventure, Nick drops him off at Social Services where he meets Gwen (ERIN DANIELS “Earthlings,” One Hour photo”), a loving social worker assigned to the child’s case. Things get complicated as Nick falls for Gwen. Back at Venture Limousine, Andy excitedly convince Nick to join him as he picks up who he describes as “the ultimate client” – Barny Tomlinson (RAINN WILSON “Almost Famous,” “ Full Frontal”). The enigmatic Barny tosses hundred dollar bills at Nick and Andy as if they were confetti and instructs them to “just drive.” Before they know it, they are being followed. But Vladimir saves the day with some daring driving and cuts the goons off, so tat Andy and Nick can get away. Andy and Nick thrilled until Brany has the men drive him out of the city and he turns out to be more than a handful. The man is paranoid and seizes control of the limo, crashing it and stranding the three of them in the desert. Four of them, actually, as they now discover that the young boy has stowed away in the limousine. Or is it six- including the two mysterious men who have been following them. Meanwhile, the other drivers have been granted the “prestige” gig of driving for the Vice President of the United Sate, motorcade and are going through rigorous training under the scrutiny of the Secret Service. When Nick discovers that Brany is in fact an ex secret service agent with knowledge that there is a plot to kidnap the Vice President on his upcoming trip, the four of them must now find a way back to Los Angeles in time to warn the other /Venture Limousine drivers and thwart the wacky kidnapping attempt of the Vice President!
