 Earl P. Sidebottom, a.k.a .the phantom of the auditorium. was once a happy, straight .A. student who went a little wonky one day when he got his first .D. and has since retreated to the basement of the school, where he plots, with his computer to make everyone at Flying Rhino Junior High as miserable as himself. He uses his massive brain power to unleash strange weather conditions, insects and even dinosaurs on the school. It is up to Billy O.Toole and his friend Lydia Lopez, Ruby Snarkis and her brother Marcus to deal with these situations and make them go away by the time the final bell of the school day rings.
While stressing the virtues of goal sitting, perseverence and self-esteem, these fun-filled voyages through history, outer space, and even the ocean will keep kids aged 6-11 thoroughly entertained.
