Step 1. Translation of the original script
City Art employs native speakers who are well acquainted with the language, and its translation discrepancies, for translation and dubbing assignments. All scripts are checked for acceptability issues in the target language. By using native speakers, City Art applies idiomatic expressions culture bound phrases, slang terminology and other linguistic characteristics which may normally be difficult to translate into the target language.
Step 2. Adjustment of lip-synchronization
Dubbing not only involves great care in the literal translation of texts, but also in the area of lip synchronization. Creating a text and voice over which seem authentic or natural to the movement of the original visual is a delicate process. City Art's dubbing team makes every effort to create a dubbed version which matches the movement of speaker's lips as perfectly as possible. The City Art team's perfectionism and professionalism ensure that your project will be authentic enough to make any audience forget that they are watching a dubbed program.
